Wasichu
"This new man is not wise, but he is very clever... you shall know him as Washi-man, steal-all, or better by the name of fat-taker, Wasichu, because he will take the fat of the land...He will steal the air...This man will lie. He cannot speak the truth.... He will bring four things: wicocuye - sickness; wawoya - hate; wawiwagele - prejudice; waunshilap-sni - pitilessness."

The Lakota also used the metaphor to describe the newcomers. It was Wasi'chu, which means "takes the fat," or "greedy person." Within the modern Indian movement, Wasi'chu has come to mean those corporations and individuals, with their governmental accomplices, which continue to covet Indian lives, land, and resources for private profit.
Wasi'chu does not describe a race; it describes a state of mind.
Wasi'chu is also a human condition based on inhumanity, racism, and exploitation. It is a sickness, a seemingly incurable and contagious disease which begot the ever advancing society of the West. If we do not control it, this disease will surely be the basis for what may be the last of the continuing wars against the Native American people.

Wasi'chu is a state of being. It has been prophesized by some of the wisest seer Native American Grandmothers that not all white skinned humans in this life walked the path of white man in the past. Some Natives are born in this life incased in the shell of white man. It is in order to learn a great spiritual lesson. Natives do not rule by their mind but with their hearts. They trust the knowledge that comes from the true brain. When they do this they should instinctively know who it is that is Was'chu in their soul and not by what appears to be on this realm of the outside. For it is that when the great Shapeshifter changes from man to wolf, that he is still man inside of the wolf. This is known by all. Perhaps Pahana is who some of the white faced men are.
I am trying my best to intergrate my family to becoming one with Nature. Not one against Nature. My family is not as willing to let go of everything in this white mans world as of yet. And as I love my family with my heart. I am not willing to walk away from them. Instead I believe it is best to allow them to slowly adapt to such a change. After all White man has Illusioned many souls. Most know not what they do.
I like to believe I am Native in my heart.
I am not picking, but if the wolf is man underneath then aren't you white underneath. It is a state of being and not all Germans are like Hitler.
Did you even read what I wrote?
"When the time of the White Buffalo approaches, the third generation of White eyes' children will seek new ways of understanding themselves and others. They will seek the Elders of the Red Race and drink of their wisdom. These White eyed children will be a sign that the Anscestors are returning in white bodies, but they are red on the inside.
The generation of Flower Children have moved through this part of the prophecy and some have remained on the Sacred Path." --Hancoka Olowami
Seriously dude, the only response to David needed to be "SHUT UP"
We will stop commenting as you never seem to take them as the jokes they are.
Although the act of nurturing another's spiritual growth has the effect of nurturing one's own, a major characteristic of genuine love is that the distinction between oneself and the other is always maintained and preserved.
